Do you want to better understand how to engage government?

Have you ever felt strongly about an issue and wondered how to make your voice heard?

With decisions being made every day at local, state and federal levels, understanding how government works; and how everyday people can influence change is a powerful step quality of citizenship.

Join us for a free, friendly and interactive workshop that breaks down how different levels of government operate and, most importantly, how community members can engage constructively, confidently and effectively with Government.

You’ll hear from inspiring guest speakers including Stephen Bali MP, State Member for Blacktown and a strong advocate for the local community, and Elfa Moraitakis, CEO of SydWest Multicultural Services, who has extensive experience lobbying governments and representing communities on advisory boards.

They will share real-world insights into how individuals and communities can influence public discussion and decision-making.

Participants will explore real issues, exchange ideas, and learn practical, positive ways to express their views and engage with decision-makers—no prior experience required. Come along, get informed, and discover how your voice can help shape your community.
